Help and troubleshooting for the Sankashti mobile app.
Need help with the app? Most issues can be resolved with the steps below. If you still need assistance, email us and we will get back to you within 1–2 business days.
Please include your device model, OS version, and app version (Settings → About) to help us assist you faster.
On iOS, open the system Settings → Notifications → Sankashti and make sure “Allow Notifications”, “Sounds”, and “Time Sensitive Notifications” are all enabled. Also check that Focus / Do Not Disturb is off and your device is not on silent. If the alarm still does not ring, open the app, toggle the alarm off and on again, and re-pick the time so it reschedules.
Dates and moonrise times depend on your selected timezone. Open the app, go to Settings → Timezone, and pick the city closest to where you live. The app supports 15 cities across India, USA, UK, UAE, Germany, South Africa, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
The app supports English, Marathi, and Hindi. Open Settings → Language inside the app to switch. Your choice is remembered on the device.
Custom alerts are stored on your device. If you restored from a backup or reinstalled the app, you may need to recreate them. Make sure “Background App Refresh” is enabled for the app under iOS Settings.
Darshan streams are broadcast by each temple and may not be live at all hours. If a temple is not streaming, the app offers a search so you can find the current broadcast. A stable internet connection is required for video playback.
The mobile app stores all your settings (alarm times, custom alerts, language, timezone) locally on your device. To delete this data, simply uninstall the app — there is no server-side account to remove.
